Is CDS22-formula the same as Vivomixx?
CDS22-formula is the De Simone Formulation, the 8-strain live bacteria formulation developed by Professor Claudio De Simone. In the UK and EU it was marketed under the brand name Vivomixx® from 2016. Since 2024 it has been manufactured by EOS2021 S.r.l. and sold as CDS22-formula®.
The strain list and NCIMB deposit codes are printed on the pack, so you can check the formulation against a public register rather than take it on trust. Is CDS22-formula the same as the Vivomixx I used to buy?
CDS22-formula is the De Simone Formulation, which was marketed in the UK and EU as Vivomixx® from 2016 and has been sold as CDS22-formula® since 2024. The eight strains and their NCIMB deposit codes are printed on the pack so you can compare them yourself. Read the reference guide.
Do I have to subscribe?

Can I spread the cost?

How is it dispatched?
Chilled orders go out Monday to Thursday before 1pm so they never sit in a depot over a weekend. Order Thursday afternoon and it leaves Monday.
What if I am not home when it arrives?
Royal Mail Tracked 24 and DPD both let you choose a safe place or a neighbour. The liner and ice pack cover a normal delivery day. Get it into the fridge as soon as you can.
How should I store CDS22-formula?
Refrigerate at 2 to 8°C on arrival. Do not freeze. Per the manufacturer's storage leaflet it stays stable at room temperature up to 25°C for up to seven days, which covers normal UK transit.
Should I check with my doctor?
If you are under medical care, immunocompromised, or unsure, speak to your GP or pharmacist before taking any live bacteria product. This is a food supplement, not a medicine.
